Healthy Mexican Pizza Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground turkey
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • ½ cup refried beans
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ½ cup taco sauce
  • 1 tomato diced
  • green onions diced

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Brown turkey meat, drain, add taco seasoning, and set aside.
  • Lightly brown tortillas in oven (optional).
  • Lay 4 tortillas on a baking tray.
  • Evenly spread refried beans on each tortilla.
  • Layer turkey on top of beans.
  • Add second tortilla on top.
  • Add a layer of taco sauce on top of second tortilla.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake for 8 – 10 minutes until cheese is nice and melted.
  • Garnish with tomatoes and green onions.
