Collagen-Infused London Fog Recipe
Ever had a London Fog? Chances are you have, but you may not have known this is what it was called. (I cannot be the only one.) I have added steamed milk to tea on multiple occasions and have done so with black tea, chai tea, as well as Earl Grey. London Fog is traditionally made with Earl Grey tea, vanilla syrup, and frothed milk.
An interesting little story is that the London Fog was first created in response to a Mary Loria in Vancouver, who happened to be having a pregnancy craving and wanted this created for her at a local coffee shop. She was suffering from severe morning sickness and couldn’t find a single thing on the menu that settled her stomach but also satisfied her caffeine and sweet cravings. The barista suggested adding some milk to the tea, while Mary added the vanilla and sugar on her own from the condiment bar.
It wasn’t until after Mary had given birth and her pregnancy cravings subsided that she began to see this concoction on menus everywhere. Imagine if Shark Tank had been around back then. She could have cashed in on this idea BIG TIME.
While this beverage is delicious on its own, you know I had to come up with a way to kick up the health factors. Enter Ageless Multi-Collagen. But not just Ageless Multi-Collagen—our new Vanilla flavor Ageless Multi-Collagen. This tasty addition kills two birds with one stone—it literally negates the need for vanilla flavoring and sugar. Another addition that would be great for this beverage is our new flavor of Keto Elevate, French Vanilla. You could even add a Low Carb Protein or Low Carb Lite as both come in a Creamy Vanilla flavor.
