Greens + Protein Smoothie Bowl Recipe (great breakfast fuel)
If you are ever in the mood to switch up your breakfast routine, smoothie bowls are just the way to do it! You can literally whip them up in under 5 minutes using a variety of healthy ingredients you have on hand—be it fresh or frozen.
A protein smoothie bowl is satisfying, nutrient-rich meals that are great for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert! They are especially great for folks who would prefer not to drink a smoothie, as making it thicker allows you to add some toppings and eat it with a spoon!
The sky is the limit, and you can change up the ingredients based on whatever you are craving that day or whatever is in season.
Here’s one of our favorite protein smoothie bowl recipes:
Greens + Protein Smoothie Bowl
- 1 – 2 cups fresh spinach
- 2 scoops BioTrust Low Carb Protein Powder (we used vanilla)
- 1 Tbsp almond butter
- 1/3 avocado
- 1/2 banana
- Blend all ingredients in a blender.
- Pour into a bowl.
- Add your favorite toppings! We used blueberries, strawberries, milled flax seed, and hemp hearts. Yum!
