First, move for 30 minutes every day. While regular exercise has all kinds of great benefits, most of us need daily movement to combat the negative effects of our sedentary lifestyles.
Second, make gratitude a daily discipline. Thank someone or something every day. As Oprah Winfrey so powerfully said, “If you look at what you have in life, you will always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you will never have enough.”
Third, schedule your bedtime. You can’t get 7 – 9 hours of sleep if you’re only in the sack for 6. The first step to getting adequate restorative sleep is making sure you’re in bed enough time.
