Healthy Shamrock Shake Recipe (High-Protein & Tasty)
Much like pumpkin spice taking over the fall months, shamrock shakes are taking over the month of March, and rightfully so. Spring is in the air, and green is what we wear, so a minty dessert seems only natural!
But hold up; wait a minute. Before you hit the local coffee shops or fast-food drive-thru to satisfy your craving, I implore you to give my healthy shamrock shake recipe a try. I put it to the test with a few friends and family members, and it was a unanimous two thumbs up. Way up!
- 2 scoops BioTrust Low Carb Lite Vanilla Cream
- 1 handful spinach
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- Ice, to your preference
- Add all ingredients, minus ice, to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and all spinach is completely liquified.
- Stop blender and begin adding ice, blending until a milkshake consistency is achieved.
Chef Note: If you prefer a creamier consistency, you can add 2 frozen bananas instead of 1. Chef Note: You can also use our Low Carb Lite Chocolate Brownie Protein Blend if you are looking for a chocolatey mint flavor (think Girl Scouts Thin Mint).
