Delicious Magnesium Popsicle Recipe (chill out this summer)
Summer is here and there may be no better way to beat the heat than with a refreshing treat like this magnesium popsicle recipe. But just because you are indulging in something sweet doesn’t mean it has to be unhealthy. In fact, you can easily whip up a frozen concoction using most of our BioTrust Nutrition products.
You can make a delicious avocado pudding using our Milk Chocolate Low Carb. You can whip up a decadent icing for berries, or other fruit salad, using our Keto Elevate. You can even make a powerhouse smoothie combining both MetaboGreens and Platinum1. Last but not least, I have a tried and true homemade ice cream recipe that will have us all screaming for ice cream.
This time, I decided to try my hand at using Zen-Zzz, so we can all kick back, relax, “Zen-Zzz and chill.” I have made something similar which I coined “Fit Pops,” but adding in the Zen-Zzz really made a difference because the ingredients in this product are designed to take away the stress and allow for a zen-like experience. This magnesium popsicle recipe are perfect for the dog days of summer.
I made a few variations with just Zen-Zzz and water, and surprisingly, those were my kids’ favorites. I didn’t adjust the water, I simply mixed 1 stick pack with 8 ounces of water, let fizz, then poured into my Zipsicle pouches. If you aren’t yet familiar with these, they are essentially a Freeze-Pop type Ziploc sleeve that you can fill, seal, then freeze. Best. Invention. EVER.
I added fresh lemon juice and fresh raspberries to some to really bring out the natural flavors in the Zen-Zzz, and I must say those are MY favorite.
Then it was time to get the creative culinary juices flowing. Rather than mix with water, I used orange juice for the base and added some grated fresh ginger and turmeric. These are bursting with flavor and can we talk about those antioxidants?
The following, though, is the winning magnesium popsicle recipe:
