DIY Mediterranean Hummus Dip (so tasty)
Looking for an easy, healthy chips and dip recipe to make? You should try out this Mediterranean hummus dip and homemade chips! It is like a party in your mouth that keeps you full for a full for hours.
Start by prepping your veggies. You can choose your preference on how you cut your vegetables, but I cut my cherry tomatoes in half and then cut the cucumbers into cubes to make the perfect amount for each bite.
Once your vegetables are prepped, you can now start assembling your dip. To do so, start by spreading an even, thick layer of hummus out on your serving dish. From there, I evenly placed my halves of tomatoes down on top of the hummus followed by the cucumber cubes and black olives. Lastly, I sprinkled a little feta cheese on top and finished it off with a nice drizzle of balsamic glaze.
No chips in the house? Not a problem! All you need is a couple of tortillas!
I start by stacking the tortillas and cut them into little triangle pieces. Once they are all cut, I tossed them all into a sealable bag with a little drizzle of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and Himalayan sea salt to evenly coat each piece. I set my air fryer to 350 degrees F and tossed the tortilla pieces in and let them cook till they turned the perfect golden-brown color (about 8 to 10 minutes).
This dip pairs perfectly as an appetizer with this healthy Mediterranean chicken, Mediterranean soup, Mediterranean surf and turf, or for anyone that is following a Mediterranean Diet.
